By bringing this new and growing "Christian Polygamy" constituency to the marketplace of ideas, Mark Henkel ultimately spearheaded the overall modern polygamy rights movement for all forms of consenting-adult polygamists. As such, secular polygamists, Jewish polygamists, Muslim polygamists, various native cultural polygamists, and of course, Mormon polygamists too, are all able to rally behind him. It is because of Christian Polygamy that Mr. Henkel succeeds for all where such others cannot.
